Repentance
Phanuel, the archangel of repentance and hope, accompanied Adam, humanity, when we were exiled from Eden. In this age he can still be heard in the chants and hymns “Open to me the gates of repentance”.
RIP
RIP: Rest In Peace. The prayers we are taught to say for our loved ones, departed  leave me with an uneasy feeling. Rest? In Peace? When I have crossed Jordan, do not pray for me that way. Pray: May he have employment in Christ’s Kingdom. Or “may his journey to the Kingdom be blessed, that he have the strength and perseverance to travel and strength to stand at the toll house waiting for the offended or harmed one to come to his defense and say ‘he begged forgiveness and I granted it’ or waiting at the toll house for the Master Himself to say ‘his iniquities will be put away, his sins purged’.
